Jenneke Brunnekreeft

Jenneke Brunnekreeft was born in the Netherlands in 1959.
As a farmers daughter she grew up with love and respect for Nature. In 1977 she became a professional painter. Her work is realistic; portraits, animals and landscapes are the most important subjects. Her ambrosial landscape paintings pay homage to the timeless appeal of the natural world. A delicate simplicity and a carefully poised perfection define her works, as she achieves a beguiling balance between what we know and what we would like to perceive.
Her radiant portraits illustrate both the physical appearance and inner spirit of her subject that both please and stimulate the senses.
Masterful coloration and textural brushstrokes are signature marks of Jenneke Brunnekreeft as she skillfully manipulates the oil medium, with quick staccato brushstrokes that seem to lift right off the canvas. She invites us to inhale the divine beauty of the world and exhale its sensations.
Cultivating a strong reputation in the international art world her artwork is treasured in both public and private collections.
