Brett is a self-taught Australian artist who began drawing almost two years ago. Since then her work has been exhibited in numerous shared exhibitions and one national conference.

Favouring soft pastels, Brett’s artwork often depicts the unexpected beauty of everyday subjects, in both the domestic and natural worlds. The themes of alcohol abuse and passion are frequently explored in her work.

Brett embraces opportunities to grow artistically and develop skills with different media. Brett recently participated in a workshop on innovative pastel techniques and is currently undertaking a course on modern day painting in the style of the old masters.
