I was born in 1934, China., having spent most of my life studying (ME in 1968 from Columbia U, PHD from NYU in 1969) and working as an engineer and in real estate management. I went to adult school to learn oil painting and Chinese brush for few months, but am mostly self taught.
My media (MEDIUM) includes oil. acrylics. water color and Chinese brush and my favorite subjects are animal, figurative, botanical, etc. I have won numerous awards in juried art competitions.
I have travelled almost all of continents including most of famous places in China. I have also visited a lot of famous museums in Span, France, England and in USA.

Yellow head are coming
I had a winter sweet tree in front of my window when I was very young boy, about 75 to 80 years ago in old China. I enjoyed standing under the tree when it snowed heavily. As I drawn this painting, I am very happy dreaming those good old days when my parents still alive.
