Artist Statement

In the spirit of nature, everything is connected. Facing the new reality, at the time of corona, this became even more clear. We are challenged to take care of our loved ones, who we want to be save(...!) And at the same time, we realise we have to take action and care for our planet, if we don't want to lose this battle. You can sense both love and fear in the streets. These dualities fascinate me, and I like to capture them both within the work.

Take care,

Femke Moedt
