Linda Lighton

Hi, My name is Linda Lighton . I am a ceramic sculptor. I’ve had over 85 solo exhibitions and participated in over 200group shows.
I am represented in national and international museums from the Nelson-Atkins, in Kansas City MO; to Switzerland, , China, , Korea, Hungary, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, and Spain.
I have been to residencies in, China Hungary, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Spain, Turkey
Lighton is a member of the International Academy of Ceramics. She is the Founder/Director of the Lighton International Artist Exchange Program, sending over 150 artists to 63 countries.
Lighton has received: the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Council for the Education of the Ceramic Arts; the Distinguished Alumni Award at Pembroke School; State of Missouri Artist Award and Award for Excellence in Visual Arts and Education from the Kansas City Art Institute.
