Walter Vermeulen

Walter Vermeulen

Location: Belgium

I live in the neighbourhood of Leuven, Belgium, more particular in a famous rock music village, but I don't tell you the name (LOL). The artwork I make is mainly in colored pencil, ink and watercolour, also collages (mixed media). I started in 1988. I never followed any lessons except from my father, a heimat painter, and who is a famous artist here in the area.
The artwork is mostly music inspired. MusicaI heroes by which a lot of artwork is inspired are The Beatles, Elton John and Dire Straits, to name just these ones.
I stayed for two wonderful years in Arizona and hope to return there one day, probably years from now.
My nickname is "Old76" and you can find further artwork on other websites like "flickr" by simply searching for "old76" or "old76 music-inspired art"..
