The windows in the big city

Art is like a lake on the outskirts of city…

Once in the city was a big rain that was falling for a long time and made a big puddle. Nobody took notice of it. Only kids frisked there and took joy from new place to play. But in this city lived one artist who spent a lot of time, watching the water lay. The first thing he saw there was his own image. He painted it on canvas. Then he saw houses, trees, people, playing kids, animals and birds on the water lay. He discovered the window where he could see all city life. New interesting images came to him day by day. It was exciting.

Some time passed and people could enjoy the beauty of big limpid Lake. The Artist settled down on its shore. It inspired him to show all impressions on his canvas.

Lake in the city is the symbol of Art in the world we live in.

Most every story I work with I take from this Lake. Basic technique in my works is glazing using texture of paint and canvas. Generally I use metaphor in my creation. Associative representation of images is the base method I reproduce the objects and themes.

There are works I remake for several times or complete with new images. All of my paintings are different. It was made with various thoughts and feelings at different moments of author’s life.
