Maryam Shams Was born in Teheran on 7th January 1958. While continuing her traditional scooling, and from her earliest youth, she developed a real gift for drawing and painting. The work she has accomplished since that time has only confirmed and amplified what seemed so natural to her in her deepest being. To become a painter.

She has exhibited he work in group or individual exhibitions, especially in France, where she has lived for more twenty years, but also in Wachington, Dallas, Venis, Espain.

While following the path she chosen for herself, and using tried and tested technics, the works wich are proposed today represent a new period in her art.

Certainly, we can observe and appreciate the talented ue of technics wich this painter has already woked on, such as drawin, colage and scraping. However, the interest wich touches the soul of the observer transports us into the infinite universe of the marvellous by giving free rein to our emotions and our imagination.

Here at last is a painter of this gereration who is capable of making us love abstract art by her own love of wanting to share and knowing how to do so.
