Hi My name is Debra Letitia Thompson, I am the mother of 4 children, and 3 grandchildren. I work with children in the public school system in a small town in Saskatchewan, Canada.
I have always been interested in creating , I am a retired hairdresser of 25 yrs which I enjoyed throughly and now am working with children.
A couple of yrs ago I had a head injury which caused me to discover something that would help with my symptoms and I started to paint, it has been a progression as many things are in life and I can honestly say that I am enjoying it more and more. I paint daily or at least try to and with that comes great joy. My greatest inspiration comes from children in the elementary grades as they see things fresh and new without judgements. They are so free in their expression that it makes me think, why do we loose that part of our creativeness. I choose to be free in my expression and have challenged myself as well.
