2 sides to every story

I try to tell two sides to every story in my recent work. I start by building and painting on a wooden box, then smashing a hole through the wood in part of the painting with a sledgehammer. On the other side of the hole you will see a 2nd painting on canvas. The outside painting is the story of what is now, as you look through the hole, you see a dream or what could be. My style is messy, confusing and abstract, then peaceful and colorful with strong black lines to create the story.
