Melissa McGill has been working as a Mixed Media artist since 1993. Much of her work consists of photo collage combined with encaustic or acrylic medium. Multi layered, luminous images, combining industry and nature have become her trademark. For the past 17 years she has been working as a commercial artist as well with a client list that includes, Sony, Time, San Francisco Chronicle, Adobe, AT&T, Graphique De France, Elle, McGraw Hill and more. Her work can be found in private and corporate collections around the world.

My work is my attempt to communicate the way I see the world, through the subtle shift of colour and form created by changing light or social issues which touch my heart. Both filter through brush, into composition in ways I’m sometimes unaware of until a piece is finished.
