I have been an artist since I got my first crayons ! My Dad always encouraged me and being an artist himself and his whole family. And my uncle Don Stacy who started the New School of Modern Art in New York. I did start painting till after my father passed away when I was in my early twenties. I went to Miami Art Institute with a scholarship at 16 . I studied life drawing and Commercial art. I felt I could never paint like my dad. I am basically self taught in painting in acrylic on canvas. My children are my inspiration and my surroundings , like the tropical Florida to the Utah mountains and red rocks. I taught art k-6th grade and the for Homeschool children as mine were too. Now retired and spending my time painting and sharing my art.
