Schooled in Graphic Design at Montreal’s Dawson College and Parsons School of Design in NYC, his career has been varied and multi-dimensional, yet solidly focused – from managing his own marketing communications / consulting company in Toronto to stints working throughout North America for an incentive and promotions company, and as the Creative Director for an event marketing & conference management PR firm in LA to producing a host of special branding communications / sponsorship projects in his hometown of Montreal.
Ronnie has now decided to express himself beyond the realm of the stage and multimedia screen, and from within the confines of experiential live events and corporate theatre . . . thus creating stunning, original works of art.

Artist’s Statement
Presented in a myriad of mixed medias and emotions, with modish subjects and series, my work ultimately evokes poignant ruminations on art in the streets, with new portrayals of hackneyed tourismo topics, found rhapsodies in the everyday mundane scenes, and, by looking ever so closely, finding buried beauty and covert charm where no one is used to seeing it. Composition and color play a large part in unearthing the esoteric appeal and symmetry to be found in atypical urban and landscapes . . .

Winter in Montreal. There is nothing like it, as the freezing cold takes over from October through March. This year was a particularly long one. . . as these photographs will attest to.
Fortunately, Montrealers are a hardy breed, and made the best of it.
A couple walks through the snowy forest, atop Mount Royal in Montreal, on a crisp wintry day.
The lake atop Mount Royal in Montreal freezes over in the wintertime, as families take over for the ducks of summer, skimming over the surface on blades.
Atop Mount Royal in Montreal, a wall of snowy branches. . .
A girl apprehensively approaches a black hole in the snowy landscape, while her friends stay behind - way behind her.
The sun tries to shine through an overcast sky, briefly illuminating the snow-laden branches on the mountain in Montreal.
Lost in the great forest atop Mt Royal in Montreal, this small hockey player seems lost amongst the towering trees surrounding him.
Cross country skiers take over the thick forests atop Mt Royal in Montreal. It had just snowed, so that the bare branches and tree trunks are laden with clumps of white, giving the entire scene a lovely, wintry look.

Snow so heavy, it drags the pine needle branches down towards the ground.
Modern technology accompanies this young girl, as she treks through the snowy forest atop Mount Royal, in Montreal
After the snow has fallen, a peaceful, wintry environment takes over the mountain in Montreal, where some leaves are still grasping to branches, lending a bit of colour to the scene.
The bold, bright colours of the graffiti really stand out against the dirty snow surrounding it . . .
This was taken along the train tracks near the St Lawrence River, a colourful warehouse standing out against the cold and dirty snow. . .
I took the Pacific Coast Highway south, from Paradise Cove in Malibu, down to Santa Monica, with it's carny-like Pier and California beach lifestyle.
Then on to Venice Beach and it's boardwalk, a virtual sidewalk circus & walk 'n' rolling skin show, including the world famous Muscle Beach . . . and then finally, Marina Del Rey, quiet and less crowded compared to Venice and Santa Monica.
These are the photos from my journey . . .
Two towering palm trees are framed within an arch in the bridge that takes you up from the beach and into Santa Monica (passing over the scenic Pacific Coast Highway).
2 sisters playing in the sand, on the beach in Malibu, CA - an idyllic scene, that will bring anyone back to their fun and carefree childhood.
A beautiful day on the beach. Not a cloud can be seen in an azure blue sky stretching endlessly to the solid horizon line of a deep aquamarine sea. Boys will be boys (again) in this amazingly clear beach-scape of a game in progress - just like the good old days . . . any athlete or beachcomber will relate to the myriad figures enjoying themselves on the hot, sunlit sand, their multi-coloured bathing suits and t-shirts enlivening the scene even further.
“Marina Del Ray Pier, Circa 1940's”
Given a bit of a filter and by altering the colour density in the photo, this modern-day shot of the pier in Marina Del Rey, California looks like it might have been taken back in the 1940's . . .
Four palm trees cast shadows in the sand, in Santa Monica, CA
One can just feel the hip and eclectic vibe emanating from this modern abode, situated right on the beach in Marina Del Rey. Sleek architecture is offset by the brilliant fans of palms growing out from the balcony . . .
A couple walks along the waterline, on the beach near Marina Del Ray
Alone, on a deserted beach, this girl is so small in relation to the expansive sky, beach and ocean around her . . .
The sun's reflections bounce off the steel railings and anchor, dropped a long time ago at the end of Santa Monica Pier.
Two graffiti artists take a stab at painting their visions on the Venice Public Art Walls, located right on the sand in Venice Beach, CA.
By deviating away from the normal perspective, their work is further accentuated, along with themselves and their surroundings: palm trees, colours, sky, sandy beach, hipster clothing . . . even the houses in the background along the boardwalk appear more modern, even fragmented.
Beside the Pacific Ocean, these children have it good, best friends (or brother & sister? nah, they're getting along too well) just lazing away a sunny afternoon building sandcastles in the sand (and sky), deep within the depths of the shadows under the pier in Paradise Cove, Malibu. Weird, otherworldly colouring in this composition add an edgy surrealistic feeling to an otherwise sound and standard scene on any beach . . .
