Anatoliy M. Menkiv was born on May 11, 1967 in Dnipropetrovsk city, Ukraine. An award-winning artist, designer, art teacher and events curator.
He graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk State Art College (workshop of Grigory Cherneta) and the Ukrainian Academy of Printing (Lviv).
He is member of the DUU (Designers Union of Ukraine) and “Society of Designers” International Association since 2004. Anatoliy also is co-founder and chairman of the DUU in Dnipro, co-founder and curator of annually design event – COW International Design festival (www.cow.com.ua).
Anatoliy is a socially active artist and event curator. He organize and carry out various actual social action, exhibitions and workshops. As the volunteer, he organized project “Art-Desant”. As part of the project, he teach painting for wounded soldiers in a military hospital, to help them get rid of the post traumatic syndrome and help to return to civilian life.
For his work Anatoliy was awarded many important awards including Honorary Medal “LEGE ARTIS”, Medal of “Defender of the Fatherland”, Medal For Service to the City of Dnepropetrovsk [Ukraine], Honorary Medal from the DUU for the powerful contribution he has made to the development of design in Ukraine, Gold Medal named after Alexander Rodchenko and other.
He also exhibited his works at many important exhibitions, biennial and triennial in more than 20 countries worldwide. Anatoliy’s artworks are in private collections, collections of galleries and museums in Ukraine, United States, Italy, Spain and other countries of the world.

Doors are the entrance to another world, another space. This is the entrance to the future or the entrance to the past. Doors like people have their own character and their destiny. And every door reflects the world behind this door.
Perception is the reflection in the human brain of objects and phenomena, of objective reality due to their direct influence on the senses. Perception, as well as feeling, belongs to the sensory knowledge of the objective world. Cognition always begins with living contemplation, from sensations and perceptions.
