The horse as the personification of patient silence. When it would seem worthwhile to revolt, it will humbly wait and endure with its head down. The painting was inspired by the play "Holstomer", where the horse is both the main character and the hero who is constantly pitied throughout the action, as well as the animated series "BoJack Horseman". Two images from different centuries, so different from each other, on the canvas merged into one.

The idea and sketch for the work came from the Sapsan St. Petersburg-Moscow, where the spring greenery outside the window meets the hard chairs inside. The character depicted in the painting can move freely, but only in a bent position - that's what makes his feet so mobile and flexible
