This is a color etching. The plate is in the shape of the state of Kansas with the reference of preCivil War situation where border squirmishes occurred over the slavery issue, giving the state the nickname of Bleeding Kansas.
This is an Acrylic Painting in progress. It's almost completed. I love horses, so I am working on creating an image of a Spring time pasture with a mare and two foals watching a white stallion galloping past them.
This is a Biblical image with media of watercolor with pen & ink. The passage refers to acts of kindness done in God's name: feeding the hungry, clothing the homeless, helping the refugees and aliens, overcoming racism and liberating the oppressed.
This is a piece with 3 images created in colored pencil. It illustrates my heritage: Swedish, German and American. It should be viewed horizontally. It shows my patriotism, pride in my ancestry and in my country, America.
“Road trip in Missouri:Hwy 55”
This is an oil painting of a view of Highway 55 in Eastern Missouri. The scenery is typical of most of the state which has rolling hills and many trees which are lush and green. I painted another road scene of I55 which looks like a pair.
