BIOGRAPHY AND ARTIST STATEMENT

Raised in Los Angeles, California and Mexico, my Bachelor of Arts Degree is
from the University of Washington, where I studied graphic design,
drawing, painting and photography. Alex Katz, David Hockney, Andy
Warhol, and Milton Avery have influenced my work.

These works of art are like snapshots of moments frozen in time, engaging the viewer in the narrative. Fascinated with the human form, texture of hair, and the mixing of color, my work focuses on bold tones and interlocking shapes, where the negative and positive spaces, based upon values of light and dark, converge.

My artworks are held in collections across the United States, Mexico, and
Europe.
