I love the simplicity of the brushstroke in Chinese Brush Painting. And I love to express Nature in traditional Sumi-e black-&-white contrast, or via saturated color combinations. Animals, Botanicals and Landscapes are favorite subject matter. I work from Life, from my imagination, and Custom requests. My award-winning work is shown in Private Collections, art shows, and Commercial placements. I aid and encourage others of all ages to learn by teaching Color Theory, Asian arts, Watercolor and Zentangle to Art Centers, Galleries, youth and senior centers.
