Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1934, Koishikawa is an oil painter. She studied under Yasuji Asaba. Birds, eggs, trees, and water make frequent appearances in Koishikawa's pieces and her obsession with color, touch, and detail creates unique worlds. She is an associate member of the Dokuritsu Bijutsu Kyokai. Koishikawa tirelessly holds solo exhibitions at galleries and other venues.
