Born in Tokyo in 1940, Shizuko Taki is a sculptor. In her process, She would wrap a prototype made of steel wire, press it onto resin, and paint it with acrylic paint. Her semi-abstract works have a transparency and gloss due to her original technique of layering resin from the top. She creates forms with sensibility and colors with reason.
