Melvin Harris – Digital Art

Now a resident of Saint Albans,Vermont, Melvin is a native of New York City. His interest in art began early in life when he spent a good amount of his after-school time visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art with studying art.

He intensively studied Water Color and Acrylic painting, Life Drawing, Graphic Art and Design, Technical Illustration and Airbrush Photo Retouching during several decades he lived in California.

In California he worked as a computer technician as well as a production manager for an advertising publication and he did freelance graphics and illustration.

Melvin’s preferred medium of expression is digital landscape and modeling software. He uses these programs to create one-of-a-kind images that inspire and amaze, from realistic to ‘other-worldly’ abstracts.
