The Seasons in Chianti

The research consists of a hundred detailed photographs of the Senese countryside that have been immortalised through the alternating seasons of the artist’s eight years in Castellina. The images are out of the ordinary, from a clear pictorial inspiration, but enriched with a clean cut edges, which produces geometric compositions. The images are never whole, always partial, because it is only thanks to particularity that we can discover traces of perfection. This results in a living experience of Chianti, rather than just a visit
