Carolyn Burger

Almost twenty years ago I began taking painting classes at our local art league on Marco Island, FL. I loved painting from the very first class, and dove into many more classes and painting outdoors with our Outdoor Painters' group.

Since then I have become active in the local art shows, events and art organizations. It is so much fun to create colorful paintings of our local scenes and wildlife here in southwest Florida. We have beautiful sunsets, birds, beaches, landscapes, and the famous Everglades is a short drive away.

As of the past few years, I have begun painting women and representational abstracts. When folks began to tell me that they didn't have the needed wall space to hang my paintings, I began to paint on velvety decorator pills. These have become quite popular! I take orders and will create anything you want painted on your pillow at a reasonable price.I am always looking for new ideas and approaches to create art.

I have a small studio in my home and participate in local outdoor art shows, gallery shows and online contests. I feel very blessed to be an artist. It brings me much joy.
