My name is Giulia Ferretti.
Since I was a child I’ve been painting, sketching and moulding the clay.
When I create my works I feel really close to nature and to the recollections of my childhood.
The birth of my three children awakened me such beautiful feelings.
The big love for nature brings me back the odour of the stones, the buds of the willow-tree, the repeated noise of the farmer’s scissors who prunes the vine, the magic sound of the cicadas, “Tuffetto’s” dives, the love of my dogs the elegance and mystery of the cats, the perfume of the winter air and the warm embrace of the summer.
The recollections of my childhood make me see myself as a thin, curly-haired child with a joyful and rebellious spirit who would stare at the windows of toy-shops, who would leaf through an old Christmas catalogue of toys, who would wish her sister’s teddy bear. A My name is Giulia Ferretti.

When I do my works I feel very happy and I hope to be able to communicate this joy to other people.
I was born in Venice and I attended the high school for Arts in Treviso.
Now I live and work in Pordenone.
