He was born in the eastern Poland in 1982. Today he lives and works in London, UK.
He started creating his first digital art at the age of 7 while using Atari 130 XE. After moving to London in 2006 and having worked as an assistant to well established British artists, He creates using both digital and traditional mediums.
The aim of Whatshisname's art is to express what cannot be express with words. I want to encourage the viewer to look at surrounding world and question it in derisive, unorthodox way.
POPek the limited edition squatting balloon dog stands proudly contrary to what is usual, while breaking common conventions of modern design. This unique larger-than-life (50 cm tall) artwork made entirely of polyurethane resin has a rich glossy finish making it eye catching and impossible to miss.
The purpose of the artwork is to stimulate inspiration, unleash creativity and evoke a sense of wonder by changing common patterns of thinking. The ordinary object turns into unexpected and unorthodox. The artwork is meant to refresh viewer’s mind and wash off the boredom of everyday life.
