Marianas

Mariana Scvortova studied at the Academy of Arts Tallinn-Estonia and graduated with a degree in painting and art education. In her international artistic activity she has completed several commissions for interior design for public -, sacred- and private property, as in several layers, and she has participated in several solo exhibitions. Since 2001 she is also artistically and pedagogically active in Germany and Switzerland.
Her paintings are nostalgic, melancholic, sentimental, sad, even critical and rebellious and are in harmony with the modern life. In her painting you can discover the face of uncertain and lost human being.

Also, by teaching classical painting and painting techniques was Mariana Scvortova her own artistic positioning clearer. Through admiration of the material world and almost fetishistic attention to details in her images, the artist builds a set of associations. Playful she pulls the viewer's attention to the everyday, almost not noticed things, and thereby brings a wide range of emotions. They are nostalgic, melancholic, sentimental, sad, even critical and rebellious and are in harmony with the modern life. Add her images to the opposite pole of a lost and uncertain modern man is to discover.
