I was trying to capture the sense of distance in this painting of a small section of Iguassu Falls
This image represents perhaps 1/20th of the area of Iguassu Falls on the Brazil/Argentina border. I was going for a 21st century version of Hudson River School painting.
This piece began as a simple abstract doodle that now suggest's an enormous space.
