Erella Teitler

Erella Teitler was born in Israel. She has lived in Burma, Canada, Nigeria, and Cameroon before moving to the United States. As an artist she has been influenced by the many cultures, music styles, colors and landscapes she has experienced. Her mother and aunts also inspired her creativity through their work as fiber artists.
Erella earned a bachelor’s degree at David Yellin Teachers College in Israel. After graduation, she used her creativity as a teaching tool throughout the United States, Africa and Israel. A few years ago Erella began pursuing her own artistic talents. She started her own business in jewelry making and exploring mixed media art.
Erella is a member of Women Painters West, Valley Artists Guild, Jewish Artist Initiative, Collage Artists of America ,Southern California Women’s Caucus for Art and the Los Angeles Experimental Artists. She is also on the board of directors of platt Gallery at the American Jewish university in Los Angeles.
Today Erella is a multi media artist who works in collage, mixed media, altered books and mono prints. She has exhibited in juried shows plus various locations around Southern California.
