Ingrid Solesvik was born in 1948 in Stavanger, Norway where she still lives.
She studied art history at the University of Bergen, Norway and went to art school in Stavanger, Norway.
She has had 3 solo exhibitions in the Norway, UK and Portugal and 10 group participations in Norway, Italy, USA, Belgium and Portugal among them the important show in Chelsea, New York, USA. Her works belong to private collectors in many countries as well as public collections in Norway.
She is an awarded artist. She is a member of the NFUK of Norway and Nordic Watercolor Association, NAS.
