JOCHI YU is a freelance Jewelry Designer who graduated from Jewelry Design Major in Fashion Institute of Technology, New York.

She is a versatile jewelry designer in both drawing on papers and silversmithing. She designs elegant and magnificent Jewelry, while she also loves to make creative metal jewelry by hands. Most of her works are inspired by natural elements such as flowers, plants and animals. Besides, she loves to utilize vibrant colors in her creations.

At the Fashion Institute of Technology, she learned various skills of jewelry design such as Jewelry gauche rendering, technical drawing, CAD, and concept development from Design program. Besides, she also learned silversmithing techniques such as soldering, piercing, wax carving, kombu, marriage of metals, etching, stone setting, handmade findings, enameling, chasing and repousse from Studio program.
