During the 2006 World Cup, I divided my time between various pubs and bars in London and Paris. My intention was to capture the emotion on the faces and in the eyes of people as they watched the games on live TV.
This 'Great stories start in Cannes' series is part of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity's official marketing campaign for 2011. Every year, thousands of people who work with creative communications get together at the Festival to celebrate the best work in design, advertising, PR and digital.
For this campaign, some of the industry's most familiar faces were asked to tell a personal story that happened during the Festival, a story that has influenced them or changed their lives.
