Born in Shimane Prefecture in 1940, Shison Nadawaki is a calligrapher who studied calligraphy via the Japan Calligraphic Society, where she is now a full member. Her creed is to write in a state of mental detachment and she exhibits tirelessly not only in Japan but in countries around the world.
