After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts, and working 25 years as a Graphic Designer in the advertising and PR world, Diane returned to school and earned her Nursing degree in 2008, freeing her up creatively to pursue a new medium - watercolor painting.
As a nurse, she traveled the Southeast on assignments, and was fortunate enough to work in the beautiful panhandle of Florida in 2011, where she first pulled out her paintbrushes and began to capture the emeralds and blues of the Gulf of Mexico and its wildlife. Now blessed with a permanent job in Walton County, she calls Santa Rosa Beach home, and is inspired to paint by the clear sunlight, sparkling waters and joy this beach life brings.
