Portfolio:

Zion Park,

These are oil paintings of Zion Park. The size is 30" x 40". I have always wanted to paint heroic subjects and Zion was perfect fo my purpose. I spent a year painting 6 major Zion paintings and several offshoots in smaller sizes.

A small area, but a large image. Oil 30" x 40"

Virgin River Valley, Zion Park “Virgin River Valley, Zion Park”

Reflection, Zion Park “Reflection, Zion Park”

This painting looks through the valley at the Virgin River and the reflections to be found there.

Pastel Landscapes

This portfolio contains all pastel paintings. Pastel painting is to me one of the most freeing forms of painting. Color flows easily. Forms take shape effortlessly to me. I almost feel it is like flying.

Cape Cod Song “Cape Cod Song”

This is an image of Sky, sea and sand with some human involvement. Diagonals streak across the paper and I am happy.

Quoddy Trail “Quoddy Trail”

The Turquoise Boat “The Turquoise Boat”

Lying in a meadow on Cape Cod, A turquoise boat is left. The grasses are growing around the boat, and as it is autumn, they turn a beautiful scarlet color.

Snags On the Shawsheen River “Snags On the Shawsheen River”

Autumn Walk “Autumn Walk”

A path to walk with trees turning yellow beyond, this is a shadowed place both in memory and in truth. Size is 12" x 18".

Spanish Sunflowers “Spanish Sunflowers”

In Andalucia Spain, the mountains stop the clouds and sunflowers unfold gloriusly in the sun. The size is 19" x 25"
