”Control the sail, not the wind” is a great summary for the concept of art responsibility. The Metaphor of the Sail and the Air is the metaphor for the bronze sculpture work, because bronze, like a sail is of limited value without the wind of creativity, which often comes in the form of passion for our sculptural process similar to our life process.

I use a sail to traverse the seas of sculpture complexity as a life metaphor..
DIANA FERNÁNDEZ , SEVEN SAILS, BRONZE, 100 CM. X 24 CM. X 38 CM. 2018.
Life is a seven sails week, seven days which build our efforts and dreams.
It is for me to recognize what can be unearthed: to reveal what magnificence of light and colors of form discover the sensuality that lies within. With a courage gained through experience, I can break into these stones, revealing their secrets subdued, cloaked in the dusts of our Planet evolution.
