Born in Valta – Filiatra Messinias (Greece) in 1943, Garsot - formerly known as Sotirios Gardiakos - graduated as a fine artist in Greece and did post graduate work in sculpture at the University of South Africa in Pretoria.

He paints, draws and molds with inspiration and emotion rather than just design. Following no set form or technique, you will recognize many distinctive styles, yet happy, vibrant colors evoking uplifting thoughts and feelings are dominant.
