I was born in a very small town in India, Imphal, Manipur. As a child, my first love was art. My notebooks at school were invariably filled with sketches and paintings. Always fascinated by the beauty of culture and nature, I was inspired to take the brush at a very tender age. A self-taught artist, I sleep and dream of doing art. I always love to paint in Primary colours and believe that they are the most expressive, and extroverted colours associated with the fullness of life, strong emotions and acts of passion to me. With inward focus, they are the again truly the colours of dynamism as well as peace and rest. It is a pleasure to sit in the late hours of the night completely immersed in what I love to do best. My art is who I dream.
