Kathleen Ellen Theriault
Visual Artist- Calgary, Alberta Canada
Kathleen Theriault graduated from The Alberta
College of Art with a major in Painting and an
Emphasis in Drawing and began her career as
an illustrator, graphic designer and art instructor
in Canada, Australia and South Asia.
Kathleen is an award winning, active member of
The Federation of Canadian Artists, an Associate
member of the Oil Painters of America, an artist
member of the Leighton Art Centre and a
supporting member of The Alberta Society of
Artists.

Kathleen’s paintings are owned by collectors in
Canada, India, Australia and the UK

Artist Statement:
“My intention is to interpret
and express nature’s beauty
and life’s energy in a non-
objective and expressionistic
manner. Sketching and
painting from nature inspires
me to channel my studies
into larger, more intuitive
paintings in my studio. It’s
the journey, creative process
and tactile connection to
paint that inspires me."
