Born 1975 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Juliana Do is an academic painter. She has received numerous awards, participated in domestic and foreign exhibitions as well as symposia and art fairs. Her works are represented in collections and museums. Juliana Do deals with the color and its formative language of abstraction in experimental and individual exploration. Her technique marks a unique combination of the rational processes and the random, spontaneous behavior of the oil paint.
The series "Earth Lines" are inspired by the stone formation. The inner space of the stone is build of numerous fine layers one above the other. When you cut the stone they do appear as fine lines. For this reason, it was necessary to prepare the paint in a special way to achieve exactly this structure.
