Born in 1974 in Osaka Prefecture, Hanae Inoie is a silver kushi (traditional Japanese comb) artist and kanzashi (traditional Japanese ornamental hairpin). After studying fashion at Mode Gakuen, she studied at the Japan Jewelry Craft School. Inoie arranges Japanese patterns in a contemporary style, aiming to create new expressions. Holds personal exhibitions in Kyoto every year.
