I work in a variety of areas. My interests are concentrated on one project at a time unless I'm doing a series of say landscapes, then I may stay in one medium say watercolor or oil until that project is completed. Many of my projects involve mix media or sculpture. These projects sometimes take longer, maybe several months, to complete. I also work in portraiture which comprises a large amount of my time. In all of my work my aim is not to create a brand or to develop some kind of interesting style that I can hang on to. I am interested in the idea or the vision (direction) that I have for something that I have been thinking about for usually a long time. That idea or image will always tell me what to make it out of or how to paint it.
