Betiana Bradas was born June 10, 1976, in Rosario, a city of Santa Fe, Argentina. Her hometown Chovet is where she spent childhood and teen years, playing between metals and steel that her father turned to modify to generate industrial products. It is there where her curiosity began for the textures, materials, and forms that until today make Betiana continue investigating her artistic career.

The sacred geometry of chance

Looking for real dreams and feasible utopias ...
That’s how I go through life ... trying to find my way ... my own language ... the one that’s untransferable, unique and unrepeatable ... is the engine that makes you ask again and again so many questions.
It’s in this search, in this learning, where I find myself, I lose myself, I discover myself, I reinvent myself. As I’m on this journey, sometimes, I’m so sad that only I know what it feels like. But there are other moments ...so many of them ... in which I smile, I feel so grateful for and I smile again ... I play and I play again and again ...
Artists have many defects and many virtues ... but, the one that in my opinion is the most important, is to be able to express our deepest but most true feelings ... those that are impossible to explain with words ... those that neither oneself knows that they are inside us.
When you decide to do a work, you decide to show yourself, open up, and of course expose yourself ... that's why it’s so difficult to put a monetary value because for us it’s something incalculable. No matter how long it takes you, the important thing is what it brings with itself ... the burden, the feeling, the moment, the experiences, the courage, ... yes, it takes a lot of COURAGE to face life.
"The sacred geometry of chance" is a series of works with such passion. It has given me the opportunity to express my feelings, my fears, my insecurities, my joys ... among so many things.
It’s ART that gives me the opportunity to tell who I am, what I look for in life and everything I have to give.
