Born in Colorado, raised in Portland, Oregon and Kansas City, Adrienne studied in Boston and Salzburg where she has been living since.
Characteristics of impressionism, realism and expressionism are found in her work. Her style is unique in that she manages like no one else to combine these seemingly opposite styles harmoniously into one piece.
The beauty of nature—how light and sky change through the seasons—and natural beauty are her source of inspiration. Adrienne inserts everyday moments and situations into compositions, reduces them and infuses them with new life.
