Nature

I mitt måleri försöker jag förena det typiskt svenska med mina asiatiska gener vilket resulte­rar i att jag ofta målar ganska coloristiskt. Jag vill fånga ljuset och ­släppa in det i mina målningar och tycker det är spännande med kontraster; ljust och mörkt, mjukt och hårt, utanförskap och gemenskap. Jag finner inspiration och skönhet i naturens rikedom och min för­hopp­ning är att kunna föra detta vidare till betraktaren genom mina alster.

In my painting I try to combine the typical Swedish with my Asian genes, which results in the fact that I often paint quite coloristically. I want to catch the light and drop it into my paintings and find it exciting with contrasts; bright and dark, soft and hard, exclusion and community. I find inspiration and beauty in the wealth of nature and my hope is to pass this on to the viewer through my paintings.
