Buddha Head
This Buddha head is typical of Khmer Art and you can discover it at the magnificent Angkor Wat site in Siem Reap. The temple is at the top of the high classical style of Khmer architecture. Today, it is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Buddhists in Cambodia and around the world. It has become a symbol of Cambodia, appearing on its national flag, and it is the country's main tourist attraction.
I made this painting in thanks to a couple of Khmer friends.

Ultramarine
For this artwork I used the Ultramarine deep Blue and different colors of blue, enhanced by touches of Orange and White to offer an original abstract composition.
Ultramarine pigment which was originally made by grinding Lapis Lazuli into a powder. These pigments were imported into Europe from Afghanistan mines by Italian traders from the 14th centuries. At that period of time these pigments was considered more precious than gold!.

Glee

Magma
In this work I wanted to artistically highlight our mother nature and particularly the internal movements of our planet Earth.
The tectonic plates move over the centuries, the divergent plates separate and move away gradually leaving an empty space which is very often filled with Magma. Other plates overlap, others collide and intermingle to create new reliefs.

Wonder
To achieve this work I use several techniques. First of all, I made a rather complex background made of several successive layers of paints after drying. Then, on one half of the canvas I applied a thick pass of paint in orange and yellow tones and sprayed water on these colors to create a dripping effect on the remaining existing background to obtain this very particular effect of melted colors to get this stunning result.
