Sergey Kryshtapovich was born in Minsk, Belarus in 1956. He graduated from the Minsk School of Arts, the Belarusian Theatre and Art Institute and completed a full postgraduate course at the department of art history and theory of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. Has been taking part in art exhibitions since 1974.
