Location: United States
I opened my first studio in Los Angeles after graduating from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. It was at Art Center where I met and eventually married my wife, partner, and fellow photographer, Marianne Lannen. We have two beautiful daughters, Danae and Samantha.
I became interested in food photography during my studies at Art Center. I've always had a love of great food and wine. Photographing food became a natural extension of this passion.
With fine art photography I am able to express myself visually without constraint or limitation. Each photograph and series has a different emphasis, varying from shooting in studio to the outdoors, color or black and white, often mixing techniques in order to achieve the vision I have for that particular subject matter.
