Sharon has loved painting and creating art since a child.
After retiring from a fifty year career as a nurse practitioner she has become a full time artist. Sharon’s art embodies the essence of the Southwest. Each painting transports the viewer to moments in our country’s past when the Natives, explorers, miners , settlers and others struggled to survive. The pleasant colors of her palate define each artwork. Different surface structures and textures beautifully depicted in her art is intended to give one a feeling of living in the place and time. Her art brings an impact of the Southwest to the viewers they will remember forever.
