Janet's new "Gold Series" is focused on the light. While gold has many connotations, overall it's conveyed as a positive force that exudes warmth, positivity and ultimately uplifts the viewer. Paintings are covered with texture, primarily with gold metallic paint and accented by white pearlized paint strokes with swirling swooshes.
"See the Light" features dancing waves of golden light. It's meant to offer a sense of positivity and warmth that uplifts your surroundings. Natural lighting throughout the day creates a new look for the painting each time you look at it.

This is a blend of painting and sculpture with 3d waves of color that literally extend from the painting surface. Ocean inspired and reminiscrent of a sea creature and the sun.

Bringing the inspiration of the Southern California Coast into the golden energy from the sun to uplift your heart and soul. The gold metallic paint strokes change with the light throughout the day like the sun. The pearlized white paint strokes soften the look, reminiscent of the sandy beach, playing with the sea green and aqua blue that touches the sky.
Wave Series was inspired by the California ocean waves and beauty of the surroundings in Southern California where Janet resides.
