Elena Tagliapietra was born in Venice, Italy and lives in Milan and Venice.

Elena completed her education at University of Verona, taking the degree in Phisical education. She works using perfomance, video and photography to analyze the intimate relationship between man and the world he has create.Her works were featured in the Vitraria Glass+A Museum in Venice and in many Sotheby’s auction for charity and many of her works are about the human rights and violence against women, that’s why she is supported by the Chelko Foundation of Atlanta. In addition, the work of Elena Tagliapietra has become a symbol of Venice and the city’s struggles to keep its identity and integrity. Her major art performance A Rose for Venice received immense media attention from all around the world.
